چکیده
Titanium alloys are the difficult to cut metals due their low thermal conductivity and chemical affinity with tool material. Since vibration is a replica of wear surface roughness, present study has proposed methodology for estimating roughness based on milling Ti-6Al-4V alloy using cemented carbide mill cutter. Experiments conducted at optimum levels cutting speed, feed per tooth, depth cut, experimental results vibration, wear, collected until flank reached 0.3 mm (ISO3685:1993). In next stage, an optimization model grey prediction GM(1,N) system support vector machine (SVM) used estimated related vibration. The predicted values compared results. average error 3.03% as 0.7% respectively while SVM 7.67% 4.45%, respectively.

Fatigue of Ti-6Al-4V
Metallic biomaterials have essentially three fields of use; these are the artificial hip joints, screw, plates and nails for internal fixation of fractures, and dental implants. Any of these devices must support high mechanical load and resistance of material against breakage is essential. High mechanical properties are needed for structural efficiency of surgical and dental implants. But their...
متن کاملMulti-objective process optimization for micro-end milling of Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy
Micro-end milling is one of the promising methods for rapid fabrication of features with 3D complex shapes. However, controlling the micro-end milling process to obtain the desired results is much harder compared to that of macro-end milling due to the size effect and uncontrollable factors. The problem is much pronounced when workpiece material is a difficult-to-process material such as titani...

Simulation of Tool Rotation and Travelling Speed Effects on Friction Stir Welding of Ti-6Al-4V
In this research, the effects of parameters include tool rotational and traverse speeds were investigated on heat generation and material flow during friction stir welding of Ti-6Al-4V alloy with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method. Simulation results showed that with increasing of tool rotational and decreasing tool traverse speed, the more frictional heat generates which causes formatio...
